Who We Are

Emily will be entering her ninth year as an educator this upcoming fall. She is passionate about teaching and discipling students to be equipped with truth. Emily graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Dallas Baptist University in 2019 and graduated with a Master's of Divinity in Youth and Family Ministries from Liberty University in 2021. In the Fall of 2023, Emily completed her Master's of Education in Administration and Supervision from Liberty University. Emily and her husband, Braeden, also enjoy investing in the next generation together through coaching. Emily and Braeden married in June 2026 and are so excited for all God has in store at The 514 House. 

When Emily is not teaching, she can be found coaching JH/HS XC and Track, leading a discipleship group for teenage girls, reading a good book, or spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs, Lizzie and Lucy.

Kara is entering her eleventh year in education. She has a heart that desires to lead the young generation to have strong foundations in who they are in Christ. Kara has served as a substitute teacher, an inclusion aide, and as a Health teacher. She and her husband, Daryl, served in their church youth ministry for over 10 years. They have been married for 29 years. Some of Kara's favorite things are riding the Harley, camping, cooking, and spending time with her family.
